Reach Safe Training was incorporated in September 2009 and is based out of Nanaimo British Columbia located on the East Coast of Vancouver Island.

Reach Safe Training’s president, Gregg Spencer is an IVES Certified Master Instructor, delivering Industry Standard certification courses since 2005 on Vancouver Island and has trained and certified thousands of operators for Aerial Lift, Forklift and Skidsteer equipment.

Gregg retired after 35+ years in the Equipment Rental Industry in Nanaimo BC dealing primarily with industrial and heavy construction applications, and founded Reach Safe Training Inc.

Gregg’s background in the Equipment Rental Industry gives Reach Safe Training the knowledge and experience brought with actual job site operation of the equipment trainees operate.

Reach Safe Training’s philosophy is to provide a thorough understanding and trainee certification resulting in proper safe operation of mobile equipment to promote a safe and compliant working environment.

Reach Safe Training uses programs and materials developed and provided by IVES Training Group. IVES Training Group is a company whose programs and certification are widely recognized throughout Canada and the United States.

Reach Safe Training provides site and equipment specific training at your jobsite using customer provided equipment.

Gregg is a member in good standing of the International Union of Operating Engineers, IUOE local 115.
